Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino was spotted in Dublin to watch the Republic of Ireland’s draw with the Netherlands on Friday evening, prompting transfer speculation that the Spurs manager is making in roads into a new summer signing.

The Telegraph note that Poch was spotted sitting next to agent Pat Dolan, and speculate that the South American coach could be interested in taking the Southampton forward to White Hart Lane this summer.

While Harry Kane scored a remarkable 25 goals in the Premier League last term, Dele Alli was the team’s second highest scorer with 10, indicating that the Lilywhites were a little over-reliant on the England international.

While Long has no Champions League experience, the 29-year-old demonstrated his class in the EPL this term with 10 goals and four assists in 28 league outings.
