Video: Luis Suarez left fuming and throws a tantrum as Uruguay crash out of Copa America

Uruguay forward Luis Suarez couldn’t hide his anger and frustration on Thursday as his side crashed out of the Copa America following their 1-0 loss to Venezuela.

The prolific striker hasn’t been able to feature at the tournament as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury, but he evidently wanted to show his support by being on the sidelines.

However, he wasn’t able to inspire his teammates who suffered a defeat, and combined with Mexico’s win over Jamaica, the 2011 champions were eliminated from the tournament at the group stage for the first time since 1997.

It’s a bit harsh to enjoy Suarez’s frustration, as ultimately he’s clearly a passionate individual that wanted to get on to the pitch and help his team progress.

Instead, he was unable to do so and let out his anger for the world to see by airing his opinions with the coaching staff before slamming the plexiglass.

Naturally, it didn’t take long before the incident was shared on social media, with Suarez now hoping to feature in the final group game and add some level of respectability to Uruguay’s tournament.
