Antoine Griezmann moved three goals clear of Cristiano Ronaldo in the race for the Euro 2016 Golden Boot on Thursday night as a brace saw the Atletico Madrid forward move on to six for the tournament.
Griezmann and Ronaldo will now meet in Sunday’s final after the former inspired France to a 2-0 win over world champions Germany in Marseille.
His first of the night came from the penalty spot on the stroke of half time, before some Paul Pogba magic and an error from Manuel Neuer combined to assist his second on 72 minutes.

A fine trick from Pogba beat Bayern Munich full-back Joshua Kimmich before the Juventus midfielder’s cross was poorly punched by Neuer into the path of the pouncing Griezmann.
Griezmann had a chance to become Euro 2016’s first hat-trick hero in the dying moments, but he fired straight at Neuer.
