Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp keen on £20m Turkey international star

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan according to Talksport.

The report claims that the Premier League giants could also face competition from Everton and Manchester United for the 21-year-old.

The Turkish international star is  currently valued as being worth £20 million and he only joined the Yellow Canaries from Bursaspor last season.

Tufan made a name for himself playing for Turkey at Euro 2016 after his club manager Vitor Pereira claimed that he reminded him of a young Yaya Toure.

“He still has a lot to learn and that is my job but the world will soon have a central midfielder on the level of Yaya Toure on their hands,” he said speaking on Sport Tv.

Pereira played his young box-to-box midfielder 45 times in all competitions last season. Tufan provided three assists and scored one goals last season.

The young midfielder has established himself as one of the most promising midfielders in Turkish football and is represented by the same agent as Arda Turan.

Tufan was temporarily the youngest goalscorer in Euro 2016 when he found the back of the net in the 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic however, Portugal’s 18-year-old Renato Sanches soon changed all that.
