Everton announce squad numbers: star striker left out

Everton striker Oumar Niasse is a step close to leaving Goodison park after being dropped form the squad list ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.

The news comes just six months after Everton signed Niasse for £13.5 million on Feburay 1.

Everton revealed their squad number list on their official Twitter page.

Meanwhile Gerard Deulofeu has moved up to number seven while Ross Barkley has received the number number eight jersey.

The Senegal international striker is expected to leave Everton by the end of the month according Daily Mail. The report states that the Galatasaray have made a £1 million offer for the 26-year-old striker.

Per the source, Everton manager Ronald Koeman is ready to sell Niasse this summer. Koeman left him out of Everton’s pre-season squad and the 26-year-old has played just 152 minutes of football over the summer.

Everton take on Tottenham in their opening game of the Premier League season.
