Liverpool beat Burton 5-0 in the League Cup at the Pirelli Stadium keeping their first clean sheet of the season in the process.
Summer signing Sadio Mane was involved in four of the goals which was particularly impressive considering he was not even expected to play.
We took a look at how Liverpool fans reacted to the victory on social media.
The fans in general seemed pretty pleased with the starting line-up, if not a little surprised to see such a strong team for a League Cup game.
Matip actually starting, no Moreno, Firmino in his correct position and Origi finally getting a deserved run out. Is this Liverpool?

Well you can’t please everyone!
Milner at LB for Liverpool again. Either him or Moreno…

And some more
Mané's change of pace is electric and unlike a lot of quick players, he has such a good brain to create for himself and others. Huge talent.

Impressive stats! the two assists do not give him justice as he was involved in at least four of the goals.

More calls for Emre Can to be captain! The 22-year-old made was given his first start of the season today and put on a stellar display until of course his unfortunate injury.
Got the win
Mane is unreal
Matip looks class
Emre Can is my captain
Klopp is boss
And yes it's only Burton— – (@AnfieldRd96) August 23, 2016
The main talking point after the game was not the victory but the severity of Can’s injury with an important clash against Tottenham around the corner.
Everyone is worried about just one man right now… it's Emre Can.

And this is why fans are worried.
It's amazing how reliant our midfield is upon Emre Can. Excellent showing from him tonight, another reminder of his outstanding qualities.
