Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge looked far from impressed as he warmed up on the sidelines during his side’s clash with Tottenham on Saturday.
The 26-year-old came off the bench to score twice in the 5-0 win in the EFL Cup over Burton Albion in mid-week, but it wasn’t enough to earn him a spot in Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up at White Hart Lane.
To add injury to insult, the England international then also saw Divock Origi brought on ahead of him as the Belgian forward replaced Philippe Coutinho in the second half with the two side locked at 1-1.
Sky Sports cameras caught him on the sidelines warming up, and based on this facial expression, it’s fair to say he wasn’t too happy with what he was seeing…
