Arsenal transfer news: Gunners have made Jack Wilshere available for loan

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to allow the England international midfielder Jack Wilshere leave the club on loan according to The Mirror.

The report states that Wilshere held talks with Arsenal and raised concern about the lack of first team football after being omitted from the latest international squad. Per-the-source, while Wilshere is still a part of Wenger’s long-term plans, the French tactician is prepared to loan him out in order to help him get regular games.

However, Arsenal will not allow Wilshere to join a rival top-four side. The news will come as a shock to Arsenal fans after Wilshere was once considered one of the brightest talents of his generation.

The 24-year-old midfielder has struggled with injuries of late and played just 37 minutes of football last season for the Gunners. Wilshere was included in England’s Euro 2016 squad but looked far from full fitness and subsequently failed to impress.

The Mirror goes onto say that Wilshere has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal following the £30 million signing Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
