The Bundesliga giants Borussia Monchengladbach host Barcelona at the Borussia-Park on Wednesday evening in the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona recorded a 7-0 win over Celtic in their opening Group C game and defeated Sporting Gijon by a 5-0 scoreline on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Monchengladbach were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline in their opening game with Manchester City. Die Fohlen are however unbeaten in their last three Bundesliga games.
The La Liga champions will be without their talisman and top-scorer Lionel Messi after the Argentine suffered a groin injury. Arda Turan is expected to start in-place of Messi on Wednesday evening.
Turkish international has been in good form for Luis Enrique’s side this season and scored during Barcelona’s win over Sporting.
Monchengladbach will be without their star forward Raffael as well as Josip Drmic, Mamadou Doucoure and Alvaro Dominguez.
Barcelona are currently top of Group C and know a win will all but secure their place in the next round of the competition.
