Arsenal vs Ludogorets confirmed line-ups: Four changes for the Gunners

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka will start on the bench as his side take on Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

Petr Cech is dropped yet again in the Champions League with now Europe regular David Ospina starting as Arsenal’s goalkeeper.

There is a total of four changes to Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven involving Ospina, Kirean Gibbs, Francis Coquelin and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain.

This tie should be a walk in the park for Arsenal, and it also gives Wenger a chance to rotate his side ahead of a busy domestic period.

However with Xhaka facing a ban in the Premier League, it is surprising to see him benched tonight.

Still, on paper, Arsenal should have no problems claiming three points against Ludogorets. But European football often throws up surprises and the Gunners cannot afford to be complacent.

Chamberlain is one player to keep an eye out for tonight having recently admitted to being unhappy with the lack of game time he is getting at Arsenal. Tonight is his time to shine and give Wenger a selection headache.

Here are the official line-ups.

Arsenal: Ospina, Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs; Cazorla, Coquelin; Walcott, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sanchez.

Subs: Cech, Gabriel, Monreal, Xhaka, Elneny, Iwobi, Lucas

Ludogorets: Stoyanov, Palomino, Nataneal, Abel, Dyakov, Cafu, Minev, Moti, Marcelinho, Wanderson, Misidjan

Subs: Borjan, Cicinho, Sasha, Quixada, Keseru, Plastun, Lukoki
