Arsenal vs PSG: confirmed starting lineups

Arsenal host Paris Saint-Germain tonight with both sides contesting to finish top of group A in the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger’s side are already through to the last sixteen of the competition, but finishing top of the group allows you to avoid the other group winners.

Petr Cech drops to the bench as David Ospina takes up his role as deputy goalkeeper once more. Ospina has performed well throughout this competition, but it appears unlikely that he will ever be able to provide genuine competition for the number one spot.

Kieran Gibbs displaces Nacho Monreal at left-back, with Carl Jenkinson keeping his spot on the opposite side of defence in Hector Bellerin’s absence.

Olivier Giroud, who has scored four goals this season, three of which came off of the bench, has been handed a start this evening.

Arsenal starting XI: Cech, Jenkinson, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs, Ramsey, Coquelin, Alexis, Ozil, Iwobi, Giroud

PSG starting XI: Areola, Meunier, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Maxwell, Verratti, Krychowiak, Thiago Motta, Lucas, Cavani, Matuidi
