PSG set to enter race for 24-goal Arsenal star

Arsenal and Chile star Alexis Sanchez is reportedly the primary target for former Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain despite boss Arsene Wenger reiterating that the forward will not be sold this summer, as per Sky Sports.

Sanchez, who scored 24 goals in 38 league games for the north London side last season as the Gunners narrowly missed out on the top four, is reportedly top of Unai Emery’s side’s transfer targets, with the club wanting at least one marquee signing before the window shuts on August 31st, according to Sky Sports.

Sanchez, who signed for the Gunners from La Liga giants Barcelona in 2014, only has one year left on his current deal at the Emirates, with the winger, as reported by Sky Sports, having made clear his desire to play Champions League football, something the Premier League side won’t be able to offer this season.

Should Sanchez end up leaving the Gunners for PSG this summer, it’ll be interesting to see who the Premier League side decide to sign as a replacement for the winger.
