Manchester United to break the bank for Champions League winning midfielder

Manchester United are ready to offer Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro a huge salary to try and tempt him to leave the Bernabeu for Old Trafford. Don Balon claim he has also caught the eye of PSG after an impressive Champions League-winning season last campaign.

However, they state that Madrid have snubbed the French outfit’s interest but United feel they still may be able to lure the Brazilian to join up with Jose Mourinho and co. The news outlet state they may offer a contract close to what Paul Pogba is getting paid. The £89m player is on around £290,000 a week, per the Daily Star.

Despite knowing the lucrative wages on offer, Don Balon state Casemiro is happy at Los Blancos, although if the right offer comes, fans may see him move away from the Spanish capital.

The defensive midfielder joined Real Madrid in 2013 and has gone on to win three Champions Leagues, one La Liga and one Copa Del Rey.
