Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has reportedly made it clear he is prepared to snub a transfer to Barcelona if they don’t make enough of an effort to sign him next summer.
According to Don Balon, Griezmann wants a deal done quickly and wants Barca to show their commitment to signing him by paying his £89million release clause in full.
The report claims United are also an option for the France international, and that he’ll pursue other options if he is unconvinced by Barcelona’s movement for him.
The Sun recently linked United with a big-money bid to bring in both Griezmann and Gareth Bale in the summer in a revamp of their attack.

The 26-year-old would undoubtedly be a fine addition to any top squad after his fine goalscoring form for Atletico down the years, though Don Balon suggest Barcelona are unconvinced.
The Catalan giants have noticed Griezmann’s dip in form this season and are concerned his signing could end up being a repeat of that of Arda Turan.
The Turkish midfielder shone at Atletico Madrid but failed to replicate that kind of form when he made the move to the Nou Camp.
This could be good news for United if they continue to make Griezmann one of their priority targets.
