Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen to see his club go back in for the transfer of West Brom defender Jonny Evans this January.
The Northern Ireland international was a target for the Gunners during the summer and the Daily Mirror claim he’s still interested in the possibility of moving to the Emirates Stadium.
Evans has shone for the Baggies since joining them from Manchester United, who may now be regretting letting him go as he seems set for a big move again.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Manchester City are also admirers of Evans, but it remains to be seen who can provide West Brom with the better offer.

The Mirror claims new manager Alan Pardew could need to sell players before he can buy this January, and for all Evans’ qualities that might not be such a bad idea.
Albion are currently in 17th place, just two points above the relegation zone after a poor start to the season, prompting the club to recently replace Tony Pulis with Pardew.
The incoming manager may not want to shake things up too much by losing an influential player, but it could also be an opportunity to raise enough funds from one player to sign two or three that would give them a better chance of survival.
