Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been tipped to seal the transfer of Chelsea winger Willian instead of Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.
Former United and Chelsea man Ray Wilkins believes Willian would be a better fit for Mourinho, who signed the Brazilian during his second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The pundit claims Mourinho remains a big fan of Willian, and insists Ozil does not have what it takes to fit into his side.
‘Mesut Ozil won’t go to Old Trafford because he doesn’t have the work ethic that Mourinho looks for in his players,’ Wilkins told Sporting Bet.
‘I actually see Willian as being the likely player to head to Old Trafford. Jose is an enormous admirer of Willian and he would be a special signing for United, but I pray that Chelsea don’t let him go.’

The Germany international did shine under the Portuguese tactician at Real Madrid earlier in their careers, but many would argue that he hasn’t looked the same player in his time in the Premier League.
The English game is known for requiring more work rate and for being more physically demanding, which doesn’t seem ideally suited to the way Ozil plays.
The Daily Mirror have linked Ozil with a move to United, while the Manchester Evening News recently claimed Mourinho had enquired about Willian.
