Manchester City ace Fabian Delph could see himself earn a new deal with the club come the end of the season should he remain injury free.
This is according to the Mirror, who state that Pep Guardiola’s side could offer the England international an extension to his current deal at the Etihad following the player’s form that he’s displayed so far this season, but only if he keeps up his current level of fitness.

Since arriving in Manchester from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016, Delph has struggled to make his mark for the Premier League giants.
So far, the midfielder has made 58 appearances for Guardiola’s side, bagging five goals and one assist in that time frame, a fairly poor record.
However so far this season, the England ace has impressed fans and critics alike with the level of performance he’s been able to put in at left back.
Delph’s ability to be played as an inverted wing back and his calmness on the ball has seen him fit into this Man City side very easily.

Should Delph end up signing a new deal with the club, it’ll mean that Guardiola won’t need to go into the market for a new left back in the summer, as the England ace has shown he is more than capable of playing there should he need to.
