Every Jose Mourinho signing for Man United ranked and rated – have Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez really been worth the investment?

Eric Bailly

A really top defender in the making, Eric Bailly in many ways looks the best signing of the Mourinho era, though he just misses out on top spot due to his injury problems.

Hopefully when we see more of the Ivorian, he can continue to develop into a truly world class centre-back and a key player for this club for many years to come.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is surely Jose Mourinho’s best Manchester United signing

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Okay he’s barely been seen this season due to his injury trouble, but what an impact he made last year.

Arriving on a free transfer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic showed that even in his mid-30s he can do his stuff in the Premier League as well after many years of doubters from these shores despite all his exploits abroad.

The Swede finished as United’s top scorer with 28 goals, scored winners in both the Community Shield and EFL Cup final – there’s not a lot more you can ask for really.

Score: 7.5/10
