After announcing the deal to take him to the club last week, Juventus have unveiled Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin as the Portuguese superstar opens a new chapter in his career.

As noted by the club in an official statement, the Serie A champions have landed the signature of the 33-year-old in a deal worth in excess of €100m after reaching an agreement with Real Madrid.

In turn, he’ll now look forward to a new challenge as after winning honours in Portugal, England and Spain, he’ll look to do the same with an expectant Juve faithful hoping he’s the catalyst to end their long wait for glory in Europe.

Ronaldo’s hopes of continuing to add his impressive trophy haul will be high given Juve have won the last seven Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia trophies, and so he’ll undoubtedly be looking to help them sustain that run while also making an impression in the Champions League.

For now though, the excitement at the club will be building after landing the Portuguese superstar, as his mere arrival at the club sparked wild scenes outside of the training centre on Monday with fans queuing up to get a glimpse of their new marquee arrival.

After dazzling for Real Madrid and Portugal for the last nine years, it’s now time for Ronaldo to test himself in a different environment and to see whether or not he can see out the latter stages of his career with another successful stint away from home.
