One of the very best strikers in the world, Lewandowski has been the subject of much speculation this summer and he makes sense for a club like Real Madrid, especially as they need a world class goal-scorer to replace Cristiano Ronaldo after his move to Juventus.

Lewandowski has scored 151 goals in 195 games for Bayern, showing just how lethal he can be, and it would make sense for him to consider a new challenge at this point in his career.

Having spent the bulk of his peak years in the Bundesliga, Lewandowski may want to show what he can do in a different league and a switch to Madrid could boost his chances of finally winning the Champions League.

Robert Lewandowski would be a fine signing for Real Madrid

For all Bayern’s domestic dominance, they have not won Europe’s biggest club competition since 2013, when Lewandowski was on the losing side with Borussia Dortmund that day.

Since then, Madrid have won four out of five finals and may represent the 29-year-old’s best hope of getting his hands on the biggest prize in club football.

Don Balon claim Lewandowski has moved up Real’s list of priorities due to struggles to sign other big names like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
