Barcelona star Yerry Mina has reportedly been given a ‘firm offer’ by Man United this summer, with Jose Mourinho eager to bring the player to Old Trafford.
This is according to Don Balon, who note that the Colombian international is willing to leave the Nou Camp in favour of a move to the Red Devils.
The same report also states that the player will still need Barcelona’s word to seal a move away, and that the Blaugrana are after €40M if they are to see the player leave this summer.
Mina, despite not being an important or valued player or Barca last season, managed to prove all his doubters wrong at the World Cup with Colombia this summer.
The defender managed to score three times in total for his side as they ended up going out to England on penalties in the round of 16.
Mina only made a handful of appearances for Barca last term as the Spanish giants won their third league and cup double in the last four season.
It may be harsh to judge Mina after only a few appearances with Barcelona, and who knows, if he continues the form he showed at the World Cup this season, he could manage to turn himself into a quality defender in the not-too-distant future.
