With Real Madrid having already lost their main man Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus this summer, it would be a huge blow for the club if they were to see another key star depart the club.

According to Don Balon, the Croatian international is weighing up his future with the Spanish giants, and that he has a clause available to him that he could use to seal a move away from the Bernabeu.
The report notes that the midfielder has an agreement with Florentino Perez, something that could see the Croat leave the club for €100M should he want to, a great price for a player of Modric’s quality.
Although bringing €100M in for a 32-year-old would be a great deal in most cases, losing someone like Modric would be a huge blow for Julen Lopetegui’s side.
The midfielder showed this summer at the World Cup just how brilliant he is, as his consistently-solid displays for Croatia helped them reach their first ever final.
Modric has also been a pivotal part of Real’s side these past few years, with his partnership with Toni Kroos being one the main reasons why the club have been so successful in Europe.
