It’s not easy to stop Cristiano Ronaldo from scoring goals at the best of times, but Juventus teammate Daniele Rugani comes up with an elaborate new plan.
The pair are busy preparing for the new campaign with the Portuguese superstar likely to make his debut for the Turin giants when they face Chievo in their opening Serie A game on August 18.
In turn, they’ll be pushing each other in training to ensure that they’re as sharp as possible, but clearly in this drill, Rugani felt as though he had no other option but to take drastic action.
With Ronaldo presented with a tap-in into one of the mini goal-nets, the Italian defender opted to remove the net from the equation altogether as Ronaldo looked at him to see what he would come up with, as seen in the video below.
Unfortunately for Serie A defences up and down Italy this season, they’re going to have to be a bit smarter this…
