Gareth Bale showed that he’s capable of filling the Cristiano Ronaldo-shaped void at Real Madrid this evening, as he scored a simple tap-in to give Los Blancos the lead against AC Milan
The home side were pegged by Milan in the seventh minute, after Gonzalo Higuain scored a great goal to cancel out the opener from Karim Benzema.

There were some doubts that Bale wouldn’t be able to replace Ronaldo for Real this season, however his clinical nature here shows that the Welshman certainly hasn’t lost his goalscoring touch.
