Real Madrid have reportedly tabled an offer of €70M for Valencia and Spain forward Rodrigo, a player who has been a target for Los Blancos for some time.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that Real manager Julen Lopetegui has already given the club the green light to make a move for the Valencia star.

The report also notes that Lopetegui has already asked the club to bring in another striker this summer, something that they seem to be doing in the form of this move for Rodrigo if Don Balon’s report is anything to go by.

Real Madrid have made their move in an attempt to bring Rodrigo to the club this summer

Real signing Rodrigo would be a smart move by Los Blancos, as although the player isn’t the biggest name in world football, he’s still definitely got the quality to succeed at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 27-year-old managed to score 19 goals and bag seven assists in all competitions for Los Che last year, as Marcelino’s side finished fourth in La Liga, securing Champions League football in the process.

With Cristiano Ronaldo now gone, Real are surely going to need to bring in some attacking talent this summer to accommodate the goals they would have lost following his transfer to Juventus.

Rodrigo’s arrival would surely be welcomed by Real fans, however he’ll have to impress from the off if he’s to get Los Blancos supporters on his side during his time in the Spanish capital.
