Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho will be looking for a response from his team when they face Tottenham at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Red Devils began the season with an important home win over Leicester City, but their good work was undone after falling to defeat to Brighton last weekend.

In turn, with the knives seemingly out already given the overall response from the media and some supporters alike, Mourinho and his players will be under pressure to deliver a good performance and pick up a positive result.
With that in mind, it’s suggested by freelance injury analyst Ben Dinnery in his tweet below, and by the Metro, that Man Utd could get a timely boost on the injury front with Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia potentially set to feature against Spurs on Monday night.
The pair have yet to feature this season due to injury problems picked up over the summer, and so welcoming them back into the fold will undoubtedly be a major boost for Mourinho given their influence on the side last season.
It’s added that Luke Shaw could be passed fit too after picking up a foot injury, although there are still doubts over Alexis Sanchez, which will be a concern for Man Utd.
Nevertheless, should Matic and Valencia return, it will give Mourinho a chance to bring back two experienced stalwarts into the side. Particularly with Andreas Pereira being played out of his natural position in a deeper midfield role, perhaps Matic coming back could prove to be pivotal to United’s hopes of seeing off a Tottenham side which has won both their opening games.
Valencia and Matic are pushing to be involved on Monday night following a return training last week. Mourinho is hopeful Luke Shaw [foot] will be OK for the visit of Tottenham while a decision on Alexis Sanchez will be left until late. #MUFC
