The report also notes that Jurgen Klopp’s side have an asking price of €200M for the former Chelsea man, and that the Blaugrana are going to wait until next summer before going back in for Salah, a player they view as a replacement for Messi.

Barca are going to wait a year before going back in to sign Mohamed Salah

It’s easy to see why Barca were keen on Salah in the first place, as the former Roma forward was absolutely instrumental for Liverpool last season as they reached the Champions League final.

The Egyptian broke the record for most Premier League goals in a 38 game season with 32, as he guided his side to a top four finish in the league, securing Champions League football for this season in the process.

With Messi now at the age of 31, the club are surely going to have to think about replacing the Argentine sometime in the near future, and what better player to do it with than Liverpool ace Salah.
