After Aaron Ramsey’s summer move to Juventus was confirmed on Monday night, it’s fair to say the majority of Arsenal fans were left bitterly disappointed.
As noted in the tweet below from the Gunners, they will bid farewell to the Welshman at the end of the season as he has signed a four-year contract with Juve.

It ends an 11-year spell in north London for Ramsey, during which he has won three FA Cups while making well over 300 appearances for the club.
In turn, there is no doubt that he has made a memorable impact, and that is reflected in the tweets below from many supporters who are simply gutted to see him leave.
Others were left annoyed by the perceived lack of appreciation shown by Arsenal in their tweet and statement, although it’s surely to be expected that they will give him a proper send off after he plays his final game for the club.
It’s easy to be critical of Arsenal in this situation, as ultimately they’re set to lose a key player in the current squad on a free transfer in a matter of months.
With that in mind, not only will they have a major void to fill this summer, but they’ve also missed out on the opportunity to raise funds by selling him at an earlier opportunity to put towards signing a replacement.
As a result, it could be argued that they haven’t handled the situation particularly well from a business perspective, although it’s the sentimental aspect and his influence on the pitch which will undoubtedly be missed most by these fans.
Thank you, @aaronramsey

Such a shame to see him go and give his peak years to another club after we remained patient with him. A top player, ended our trophy draught & an inspiration to many. Arsenal through & through. Legend. Thank you Aaron???

Disappointing tweet and statement from a club which prides itself on its class. This is not ‘The Arsenal way’. 11 years service!

Thanks for taking the time to write less than a hundred words re: the man’s 11 years of service. I hope you’re saving your efforts for June.
