Manchester United are looking to sign Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer at the end of the season.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Manchester United have been in contact with the midfielder’s agent and they will face competition from PSG, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich for his signature.
The midfielder will be out of contract in the summer and he is yet to secure a contract extension with the Italian club.
The 29-year-old midfielder has proven himself to be a reliable performer at the highest level for club and country. He could improve Manchester United in the middle of the park and help them control games better. It is no secret that the Red Devils need his quality and experience in the midfield if they want to compete for trophies.
Adrein Rabiot would be an upgrade on most Man United midfielders
Erik ten Hag as relied on players like Sofyan Amrabat, Scott McTominay, Casemiro, and Kobbie Mainoo this season. Manchester United need to bring in upgrades on most of them and Rabiot would be a superb acquisition. Signing a player of his quality and experience on a free transfer would represent an excellent business. It would also allow Manchester United to improve the other areas of their squad without needing to spend over the odds.
It will be interesting to see if the 29-year-old midfielder is keen on a move to the Premier League. It will be an interesting opportunity for him at this stage of his career. He has already shown his quality in France and Italy. He could be tempted to move to England this summer if there is a concrete proposal on the table.
