Spurs close in on Andy Robertson
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have secured a verbal agreement with Liverpool defender, and he will join them on a free transfer if they secure Premier League safety. They are currently fighting the relegation battle, and they are 18th in the league table. The Scottish International will not join them if they are relegated in the summer.
It seems that Robertson could be the first signing for Roberto De Zerbi at Tottenham. They could use more quality and depth in the defensive unit. Adding an experienced player like him would be a wise decision. Signing someone like him for free could prove to be a masterstroke. He would not only help them improve defensively, but his leadership qualities and winning experience would also help them improve on and off the pitch.

Robertson needs a move
The Liverpool star wants to play more often at this stage of his career, and moving to Tottenham could be ideal for him. He could replace Ben Davies next season.
Despite their struggles this season, Tottenham have a talented outfit, and they should be fighting for trophies. They have brought in a quality manager, and the Italian might be able to help them turn things around. It is no surprise that the Liverpool star has chosen to join them.
He has been replaced by Milos Kerkez at Liverpool, and he will look to get his career back on track next season.
