Manchester United playing tough in the trenches: They want this WINGER to show some loyalty for a new contract!
by offsidetrap on November 12th, 2008 151 words | 2 commentsManchester United are reported to be dangling a fat new contract right in front of Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent. They’re hoping he’ll bite and stay at the club for the next couple of years. But there’s a stipulation to the new deal: Ronaldo has to show his LOYALTY to the club. Haha!
Cristiano Ronaldo is to be offered a new deal at Manchester United, if the winger proves his loyalty to the club. (The Sun)
Loyalty and CRon are two things that just don’t go together. Just take a look at his summer fiasco and you’ll see where his loyalty stands. To be honest, Ronaldo will end up getting this new deal whether he’s loyal or not to the club; because in the end, Ronaldo is the best player in the world.
Do United supporters believe Ronaldo has to show his loyalty to the club before he gets a new deal?

Unfortunately United and Fergie are setting themselves up for an almighty fall should this be true.the loyalty should come directly from the player to the club, but in this case it seems that its the other way round.the other players that dont self promote but have as big a say in what happens on the pitch are not gonna be over the moon to see utd/fergie bending over backwards to give one individual that amount.if utd had been this way towards players that actually warranted this form of attention then i am sure that utd would have more trophies.ronaldo is without doubt an extremely good player blessed with ability but also has the ability to piss people off aswell as self-proclamation.someone like tevez must be wondering what the hell is going on as his contract talks are put to one side for not just berbatov but now ronaldo and tevez was a player that gave 110% last season and continues to state that he wants to stay and continue to give 110%.

how are they gonna prove his loyalty?
make sure he has a big smile on his face when he scores?
kiss the badge?
do lots of interviews sayin manyoo is the bestest club in the world before tucking into bed under his manyoo duvet cover hugging his fred the red teddy bear bought from the megastore like his pal Gary Neville?
hasnt he got 4 yrs left in his current contract anyway?
