Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken of his desire to win a trophy with Real Madrid this season according to Sky Sports.
The La Liga side are currently lagging behind rivals Barcelona by 13 points in the Spanish top flight this season and the title looks destined to return to the Catalan giants.
But Madrid still have two opportunities to land a trophy this season.
They are set to go head-to-head with their city rivals Atletico Madrid in the Copa Del Rey final while they also face Galatasaray in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Madrid are currently enjoying a more optimistic outlook after enduring a difficult start to the season.
The position of manager Jose Mourinho has come under intense speculation as the side have failed to keep pace with Barcelona in the league and while the club are now focusing on their end of season trophy hunt, the Portuguese boss remains expected to part ways with the Spanish giants this summer.
Ronaldo remained coy over his own future however, refusing to be drawn on speculation that he may also leave the club.
Reports in recent weeks have linked the winger with a return to Old Trafford while big-spending French club PSG are also thought to be monitoring the player’s availability.
