St.Etienne’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moved closer to a move away from the club today as he declared he is ready to leave the Ligue 1 side according to The Daily Express.

The player, who has been dubbed the ‘African Neymar’ for his clinical finishing and trademark Mohawk hairstyle, has attracted the attention of a number of top Premier League sides after his prolific form in Ligue 1 this season.

The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City have all been reported as showing an interest in the player although it is also thought PSG may attempt to keep the player in France.

Arsenal are keen to bring in attacking reinforcements as they look to strengthen their forward line for next season. Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski have endured disappointing debut seasons after being brought into the club to fill the space left by Robin Van Persie’s exit to Arsenal.

Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger is keen to add additional firepower as he looks to mount a stronger challenge for the Champions League qualification spots next year.

Chelsea are keen to bring in a forward to replace the mis-firing Fernando Torres. The Blues’ hierarchy have finally run out of patience with the Spanish striker after seeing him continue to perform poorly under former mentor and interim manager Rafa Benitez.

Aumbameyang has declared he is keen to move to a ‘top club’ meaning he is unlikely to remain a St. Etienne player for much longer.
