Star midfielder may be on the move.

Bundesliga giants Schalke have admitted that star midfielder Julian Draxler could leave the club this summer as they would not stand in the players way if an offer from a big club came in for him, Sky Sports reports.

The 19-year-old had been a target for both Arsenal and Chelsea earlier this summer, but had signed a fresh five year deal with the German side, though that hasn’t put gossip surrounding his future to bed.

And club president, Clemens Tonnies, has admitted that every player has it’s price and should someone match it then he would not stand in the way.

“Of course we want to keep hold of him, Julian is an important figure in Schalke,” he told the Express newspaper.

“But if we want to be fair with him, then maybe we have got to consider letting him move abroad sooner or later.

“If somebody like Real Madrid were to enquire about him, what should I say? Don’t talk to them? Get serious.”

The talented German international has already made over 100 appearances for the side, bagging 21 goals in the process. He has already added a DFB-Pokal trophy and a DFL-Supercup title to what is surely a fledgling career.
