Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowksi has expressed his dissatisfaction with how his future at the club has been handled according to Goal.com.
The Polish international was widely expected to join Bayern Munich this summer, only for Dortmund to reveal that he will be staying with the Champions League runners-up.
There are rumours of a break down in relations between Dortmund and Bayern, after the latter announced the signing of Mario Gotze just before Dortmund’s Champions League semi-final game against Real Madrid.
Lewandowski has claimed that he was given assurances that he would be allowed to make a similar journey this summer, only for the Signal Iduna Park side to go back on their word.
Lewandowksi has insisted that he will remain professional and see out the remaining twelve months on his contact with Dortmund.
This time next year, the Bundesliga giants will be powerless to stop Lewandowski joining any side he desires.
Lewandowski was one of the key players in Dortmund’s successful Champions League run that led them all the way to the final before the succumbed to their Bundesliga rivals Bayern.
