Manchester United are close to completing their second signing of the summer transfer window with reports that a deal has been agreed to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

The Premier League giants are in need of strengthening in the middle of the park after a disappointing season finishing in fourth place, and manager Louis van Gaal has seemingly identified the German international as the ideal solution to his side’s problems in that part of the pitch.
A fee has not yet been finalised, but it looks as though Gundogan and United have reached a personal agreement for the 24-year-old to make the move to Old Trafford, according to the Metro.
United have already signed Memphis Depay from PSV to strengthen their attack, and with Gundogan possibly wrapped up, fans will be hoping a central defender comes in next.
