French giants PSG are the latest team to be linked with a move for unsettled Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, according to Sport24.

The 32-year-old’s future has come under much speculation since the club’s new manager Carlo Ancelotti continued where former boss Jose Mourinho left off last season by leaving Casillas on the bench in favour of Diego Lopez.

Casillas, who has been at the Bernabeu for his entire career so far, holds legendary status at the club, but could be set to move on after falling out of favour with the management team.

The likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and even Real’s arch rivals Barcelona have been linked with the Spanish international, and now PSG will look to try their luck in a bid to lure him away from Los Blancos.

Caisllas will be eager to be playing regularly this season with next summer’s World Cup approaching, where he will be hoping to captain Spain once again in a major tournament.

The goalkeeper was skipper of the side for their last three triumphs at major tournaments, leading Spain to victories at Euro 2008, Euro 2012 and the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
