Italian giants join queue for unsettled Valencia defender.
AC Milan are the latest club being linked with a move for unsettled Valencia defender Adil Rami, according to talkSPORT, who also report that Arsenal and Manchester City are chasing the Frenchman.
The 27-year-old is rated as one of the most solid defenders in La Liga at the moment, and attracted a lot of attention from top clubs during the summer, though a move away from the Mestalla never materialised.
Rami will be on many clubs’ radars again this January however, after a public fall-out with Valencia manager Miroslav Dukic. The French international has been highly critical of the team after recent disappointing results, and is keen on securing a move to a bigger club.
Arsenal and Manchester City are keen to strengthen defensively this January due to a shortage of options at the back, though Milan will now compete with the Premier League duo for Rami, as they seek an improved partner in central defence for Philippe Mexes.
The Italian giants have also been linked with Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic in the last few days, though Rami might prove a more realistic option for the San Siro side when the transfer window re-opens.
