Serie A giants want Old Trafford centre-back.
Juventus are said to be readying a bid for experienced Man United defender Nemanja Vidic according to Football Italia.
The Serie A giants will make an offer of €9.5m (£8m) for the 31 year old centre-back, a player who has suffered with a fair amount of injury problems in recent seasons.
David Moyes may well consider offers for the Serbian international as he could perhaps be lining up moves for more youthful defensive options.
Vidic’s current contract comes to an end this summer and as such an offer of £8m may be deemed as a decent one by the Old Trafford club who could see the defender leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Man United signed Vidic in January 2006 and at times has been considered one of the best central defenders in European football though such platitudes are perhaps a thing of the past.
Nemanja Vidic may feel the time is right to consider a fresh challenge and a move to join Juventus could well tempt the former Spartak Moscow man who has made a total of 271 appearances for Man United, helping the club to five Premier League titles and a Champions League triumph in the process.
