Summer signing Neymar opened the scoring in the first half as he latched onto a cheeky through ball and unleashed a low shot that took a deflection off Carvajal and past the hapless Diego Lopez.
Then again in the second half, substitute Alexis Sanchez dazzled Lopez with a chipped finish that will be at home on any Classico show reel before Jese Rodriguez pulled back a late consolation for the visitors.
