Real Madrid Still Hoping To Fend Off Interest In Sami Khedira From Gunners, Blues And Man United

Real Madrid are apparently keen to keep English interest in injured midfielder Sami Khedira as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all still interested in bringing him to the Premier League, the Daily Star reports.

Khedira is currently sidelined until the end of the season with a knee injury sustained whilst on international duty last month butUnited boss David Moyes has identified him as the ideal man to inject some much needed life into his midfield, whereas Arsenal are hoping to link him up with compatriot Mesut Ozil and Chelsea want to offer Ramires plus cash to land his services.

The 26-year-old’s deal in the Spanish capital runs until 2015 and though Real are not looking to sell, and have been locked into fresh negations with the player ever since last summer and the club have insisted that his injury problems have not made any difference to the situation.

Khedira had been a regular this season under Carlo Ancelotti despite publicly voicing his disappointment over the sale of Ozil to Arsenal over the summer.
