Zaha virtually confirmed that he was a Cardiff player on Thursday when he posted a photo to Instagram of him in the club’s training kit, and he will don the number 36 shirt this term as he looks to finally get some Premier League football under his belt after failing to make a single appearance for United.
“It’s great to be here. I hope I’ll be able to contribute something to the team,” he said.
“I haven’t seen much of Cardiff City this season, but what I have seen showed me that we play some good football.”
His Untied teammate Fabio has put pen to paper on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee after failing to make the grade at Old Trafford.
“I’m very excited to be part of this and I’m looking forward to helping Cardiff City. I know this is the right move for me,” he said of his move.
Both players will be available to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s game against Norwich City.
