White Hart Lane side chase Old Trafford and Upton Park stars.
Tottenham are preparing the ground for a trio Premier League stars as the North London club targets some much needed summer additions according to the Daily Telegraph.
Old Trafford forward Javier Hernandez is a prime White Hart Lane target as boss Tim Sherwood seeks a proven goal-scorer to resolve his North London side’s lack of goals.
With both Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado proving to be expensive mistakes there is a real need for striking reinforcements, not least as Jermain Defoe has left for the MLS.
Hernandez has made just four Premier League starts this season but his overall record of 57 goals in 142 appearances, of which 61 were from the bench, is healthy to say the least.
Tottenham will also look to strengthen their defence with a move for West Ham centre-back Winston Reid, who has been in fine form over the past 18 months.
Sherwood has also set his sights on Man City utility man James Milner, another player who is something of a bit-part player and perhaps open to a fresh challenge.
Tottenham are hoping to secure a top four finish that will aid them in pursuit of their top targets but currently sit in fifth spot.
