The experienced Germany international was pictured taking the No 26 bus, which travels from Hackney Wick all the way to Waterloo Station across the centre of London.
However, it obviously did the forward to harm at all as on Tuesday night, the player managed to find the back of the net on two occasions either side of half-time to help the north London club come from behind to beat West Ham United 3-1 at the Emirates.
