Liverpool are reportedly considering a summer bid for PSG youngster Lucas Moura according to Football Direct News.

The 21 year old cost the Ligue 1 side a massive £36m fee back in August 2012, moving to the French capital in January 2013, and has largely failed to deliver on not only his obvious potential but also his huge price-tag. Therefore a move away from the Parc des Princes is a possibility though a move to Anfield doesn’t seem all that likely.

Though Brendan Rodgers is keen to bring in another wide-attacking option he is unlikely to be willing to pay the £25m+ PSG would demand for Moura and the Northern Irishman is probably not willing to risk such a big fee for a relatively untested talent.

The former Sao Paulo man may have made 43 appearances for PSG this season but more than half of those came from the bench and as such Moura may feel undervalued, not least as even with only 16 Ligue 1 starts to his name the Brazilian is the third highest assist maker in the French top tier this season.

Rodgers is unlikely to put an offer to make Victor Moses a permanent addition to his squad after a lacklustre loan spell at the Merseyside outfit.
