The London Evening Standard claims that the Blues boss is also looking to welcome in two other forwards in his push to put together an all new look Chelsea attack.

A move for a fresh attack at Stamford Bridge is perhaps no surprise given that his current crop of forwards, Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o have scored just 15 of the club’s 69 Premier League goals this season, but it’s an undertaking that won’t come cheap.

Mourinho will look to bring in Bayern Munich man Mario Mandzukic, who looks set for a limited role at the Allianz Arena next term with Borussia Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski on his way to the Bavarian outfit.

The Croatian, who has a £25 price-tag, has been a prolific goal-scorer over the past two seasons, netting 22 times in his debut campaign with 26 goals scored in all competitions in this current campaign, but clearly Mandzukic would feel Pep Guardiola deems him surplus to requirements with a move for Pole Lewandowski and a move to Chelsea would surely tempt the former Wolfsburg.

29 year old Argentine Lavezzi who may be open to a fresh challenge.

The £22m rated PSG star moved to the French capital in July 2012 and at times has struggled for form and has not always been in Laurent Blanc’s starting eleven.
