Red Devils teased over absence from Europe.
Welsh minnows Aberystwyth Town have aimed a playful jibe at Manchester United using Twitter.
Both clubs finished seventh in their domestic divisions last season – United’s worst ever placing in the Premier League.
As a result, the Red Devils missed out on a spot in the Champions League for the first time since 1995.
They also failed to qualify for the Europa League – a competition that Aberystwyth did get into, courtesy of reaching the final of the Welsh Cup, where they lost 3-2 to The New Saints.
Aberystwyth play Northern Ireland’s Derry City in the first qualifying round of the Europa League on Thursday.
The club cheekily sent the below image and message to United from their team coach.
