Wilshere admits his first day back was hard. Perhaps it was the smoking hot summer heat?
Theo Walcott has not played for Arsenal since damaging his knee during an FA Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur in January.
The former Southampton star also missed England’s World Cup campaign with the injury.
However, he is back in training and hopeful of being fit for the start of the new season.
He trained with the Gunners earlier this week, as did England midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Wilshere uploaded the below picture to his Instagram account, along with the message: “1st day back was tough, not going to lie! But look who’s back in his boots! #TJW #29Days #WilshWillBeReady @theowalcott”.
