Old Trafford target indicates willingness to make summer switch.
Everton midfielder James McCarthy has directly commented on speculation linking him to a move to Old Trafford according to the Daily Express.

The 23 year old greatly impressed in his first season at Goodison Park following his £13m move to Merseyside from Wigan Athletic and is known to be a player interesting Man United, with both former boss David Moyes and current incumbent Louis van Gaal both said to be keen on the Republic of Ireland man.
McCarthy has done nothing to quash talk of a possible move, stating;
“If a club like Manchester United are interested, obviously you are doing a good job.
“We will see what happens.”
The tough tackler could well help to breath life into Man United’s brittle midfield and would be a preferable long term option to the likes of Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher and surely has more to offer than Tom Cleverley.
McCarthy burst onto the scene at Hamilton, making his debut for the Scottish side aged just 15, and has racked up 282 appearances and now entering a key period in his career and would surely be tempted by a move to Man United.
