South American star wins fan vote by a landslide.
Manchester United have named Argentine midfielder Angel Di Maria as the club’s Player of the Month for September.
Di Maria played three games in September, scoring twice and providing two assists.
He won a fan vote to pick up the monthly award, beating fellow nominees Ander Herrera and Rafael.
Di Maria got 68% of the votes, while Herrera and Rafael received 23% and 9% respectively.
On Friday morning, United’s media team uploaded the below picture of Di Maria collecting his award.
